Message	Since there are no longer cats it will not be crazy hot.... If the shield was close to the pipe it would still cause it to retain more heat. If the shield was higher up to help prevent heatsoaking the intake manifolds, That might be good. With the room you have to work with in a Z it probably is not worth the trouble.
